Eventual Reward For A Soggy Walk
by Aidy 4 Nov 2016
I got a very wet, windy day for this one, as I walked it from the Reelan Valley via Croaghgorm and the South West Top. By the time I got to the higher ground on Croaghgorm I had climbed into the clouds that had been raining on me from the start. As often happens, the mist around me cleared in seconds on the South West Top, and the sun intermittently broke through angry looking skies to throw patches of light on the landscape. It was ample reward tor my earlier efforts and allowed me to stick to my theory that you rarely, if ever regret venturing out regardless of the weather.

Probably best done along with Croaghgorm and some or all of the other subsidiary tops. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1431/comment/18698/
