bogtrotter: Track 1589 in area near Lobawn, Dublin/Wicklow (Ireland)
Sugarloaf to Lug
Length: 22.3km, Creator time taken: 6h18m, Ascent: 1177m,
Descent: 1083m

Places: Start at S9559695666, Sugarloaf, Lobawn, Table Mountain West Top, Table Mountain, Camenabologue, Lugnaquilla, end at S9725193506 2.7km SE from Start
Logged as completed by 1

Quintessential West Wicklow walk, long and boggy, best done after a dry spell, otherwise there's plenty of zig zagging on the Lobawn - Table ridge to avoid the wet bits. A second car (parked at Fentons) is a must, the road walk would not be a pleasant prospect. The route is straightforward (track most of the way), Sugarloaf, Lobawn, Table, Camenabologue, Lug and then west for the decent into the Glen of Imaal.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 6h 25m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
