Picture: Highpoint

Uninspiring hill accessed via forest tracks.
Short Summary created by Colin Murphy  12 Feb 2024
A fairly straightforward climb mostly up forest tracks. There is parking for several cars at a Coillte forest entrance at R90975 65420 starA. Follow the winding trail up for about 2km, barely gaining any height, passing multiple small streams. At R92274 65545 starB, go right at a fork and follow this track as it skirts the south of the top. Pass a small, abandoned quarry on left and just past this watch for a rough forest ride ascending towards the top at around R92767 65463 starC. Follow this up to the highpoint, marked by a pile of rocks with a pole in the centre. Return by same route. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/815/comment/5574/
