[RWD version 1 ] This is a good walk that takes in two Carns with relatively good terrain all the way. There is parking for a couple of cars at the start point. Walk down the track to the SE for about 100m or until you can see somewhere to hop the barbed-wire fence safely. Cross a bit of rough ground, then another fence, and you’ll emerge on a broad, rough farm track. Follow this NE a bit and it swings around to the SE, directly up the slope.

The wide, walkable swathe running up the NW slope.
It continues like this for a while, but then after you cross another fence on the left, it changes to an even broader swathe of hard earth, rocks and grass. This eventually peters out after about 1km. From there it’s a mixture of short grass and rocks, good solid terrain, although it does become steeper. There is even a bit of a trail to follow. Continue for another 1km up this, veering more to the east and at about 450m ascent, the steepness ends and you emerge on a broad ridge covered in shortish heather, with a fence running west-east towards the summit.

The final, gentle climb to Foilclogh.
Follow the fence for another 600m, which will take you to the summit marked by a low pile of stones.

Continue on east, following the fence, drop down to 450m at col, and there is a short, steep climb up to Beenduff summit, which is unmarked. (In fact, according to my GPS, there was only a 29m ascent, which would disqualify it as a Carn! But my GPS is probably out a bit.)

Beenduff from col between the two hills.
There are two distinct heathery bumps vying for top spot, but I guessed the one to the NE was a tiny bit higher. The views all around are wonderful. Return via same route. (BTW, my walk took over 4.5 hours, but I was wrecked from previous day’s walking, hungover and I spent a lot of time chatting to other walkers and just sitting enjoying the silence and the view, so you could probably knock an hour or even two off that.)
