This is the route I used to visit the four easternmost Galty summits. It begins at a forest entrance and ends with a couple of kms roadwalking on the R639. I found finding a route down from Slieveanard to the roundabout on the road a bit of a lucky dip but managed it ok. This walk is a mixed bag of open bog, forest tracks, tracks across bog, road walking and handrailing fences, forests edges and old ditches. A very pleasant walk that stitches together the eastern Galty outliers.
