Short steep climb

Parked at bend beside telescope at A (V400 665). Walked east 100 metres and crossed first gate headed up following low wall and two fence crossings before arriving at summit area. Once again extensive views this time over St. Finnans Bay and down towards Ballinskelligs. This is beginning of ridge including Canuig Mountain and Bolus Head.
