Galtwy Rd (R89306 20345) (Point A) (ht333m), and follow the Black road through two gates. After passing through the second gate climb the bank and follow the wire fence west towards the summit of Seefin N Top. From Seefin N Top cross the wire fence you have been following heading south through a rough boggy field.
Cross another wire fence and climb uphill and then across a short expanse of heathery bog to the summit Tor.
Fine views of the Galtys, the Comeraghs, and the Knockmealdowns for a small effort.
If you prefer you can head directly downhill to the carpark from the summit but be warned a carpet of knee high heather and ferns hides a multitude of ankle twisting opportunities.
#Also beware of the 4 foot high ditch with barbed wire that needs to be tackled if heading direct from the summit to the main car park area.
NW of the summit also has a large rocky outcrop which you will see to your right if descending from Seefin North summit.
An easy start or finish to a bigger circuit

Climbed Seefin at the end of a longer circuit of the Galty's from Black Road.Approached from Seefin North summit across very high and energy sapping heather.Very cloudy day so views were limited.Headed direct for car park through 2 fields and then a 4 ft high ditch had to be crossed which scared the be-jesus out of a couple getting out of their car at the car park as I leapt the fence in one go with a hefty thump on landing! A short walk from the Black Road car park rambling over Seefin North will bring you fence hopping to Seefin. Seefin is a lone sentry guarding the the main entrance to the Galtys with a conglomerate castle but by the lack of footprints shows very few visitors stopping in. Views south to the Knockmealdowns, east to the Comeraghs and North to Galtymore ,Galtybeg and Greenane brooding in the cloud and the nearer Knockeenatoung. Up to a couple of years ago, If anyone had ever told me I'd make it to 350 summits and be gagging for more I'd have said they were mental! Once the 'bagging' bug took hold about 2007 or so I couldn't help myself.
Today I chanced it through the damp morning for an early round of Knockeenatoung and the two Seefin brothers as I was holidaying in the beautiful Glen of Aherlow (Aherla to the locals).
Seeing as I had still two Galty's unclimbed I went on to do one of them on the way home (Benard) and also fitted in a Ballyhoura (Ballyarthur Hill) and was back in Aherla for my lunch.

Followed Dessie1's directions from Seefin N with some minor exceptions. If you follow the fence past the summit you will come to a rusty gate, which is much easier to cross. From here you can follow another fence towards Seefin, which takes a right-angled left turn at around A (R888 199). Continue to follow this up the hill and you will come to a spot where the fence is relatively easy to cross. Then it's a slight trudge up the last bit through the heather. The summit area is marked by a collection of large jagged boulders. On the return journey, dropped down through the heather, which was thankfully not too long, to B (R889 202) and picked up a grassy trail that ended in a field, crossed this to return to the main track next to the car parking area at Galtwy Rd (R89306 20345).
