There may be some who think that Knocknagapple NW really shouldn't be included in the list. Certainly it doesn't have much prominence. It does have a few things going for it though, such as its great location from which much of the north Iveragh area can be seen and its isolation. Earlier in 2008 one of the recently reintroduced Irish White-tailed Sea Eagles was seen in the area.

Our photo shows the curiously mottled Dreenagh, 358m (a ridge leading E off Colly East). The summits behind on the skyline are parts of the W Reeks. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/592/comment/3512/

Near to the summit is this sort of upright-ish stone. While I'm no expert on antiquities I would suggest that it is mostly likely natural in origin. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/592/comment/3513/
