simon3: Track 1773 in area near Cnoc Leitreach, Achill/Corraun (Ireland)
A widening view as you ascend the tail of Owenduff.
Length: 10.6km, Creator time taken: 3h48m, Ascent: 504m,
Descent: 509m

Places: Start at L8029699723, Cnoc Leitreach, end at Start
Logged as completed by 1

Start from the road where there is some parking. Walk on forest paths initially. Judging by the extent of tree cutting you may need to find a different way to reach the forest boundary in the SW corner of the walk. Some of the ground is pretty boggy.
Eventually you can get yourself on the "tail" of the summit which stretches SW.
The way down from summit was surprisingly difficult due to steepness and slipperiness.

COMMENTS
No comments uploaded yet.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 2h 58m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
