It is obvious there are other routes to this summit by parking on the N59 and ascending accordingly but i decided to visit by way of its neighbour Dooghill Hill . Parking at L8243597268 star

A room for one car and by following the Lookout Hill Loop Walk to L8272397345 star

B bearing left to open hillside i visited Dooghill and continued on to Claggan Mountain enjoying the views in the process. The going is easy with a gently accent across. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/5072/comment/19738/
