Beautiful loop walk suitable for all.
Short Summary created by Colin Murphy  9 Aug 2021
Parking for 20 or more cars to be found at F7055439572 starA, along with portaloos, and in the summer, a refreshments van. Follow the loop trail (marked with white stones and posts) which hugs the coastline in an anti-clockwise direction, before cutting back on itself when you reach the summit cairn. It is approximately 5km long and can be done in trainers. Suitable for all levels of walker. The views on a clear day are tremendous, including the distant Stags of Broadhaven rising from the water. New Comment: Fantastic loop

Erris Head loop follows waymarked arrows from the Wild Atlantic Way sign at the car park. The loop will eventually take you to thetrig point at the summit towards the latter half of the walk. You could take a more direct approach to the summit but you would miss out on a very scenic walk. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/5055/comment/24426/

Small it may be, but this walk offers tremendous views of the north Mayo coastline. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/5055/comment/23241/
