Colin Murphy: Track 5273 in area near Taur, North Cork (Ireland)
So, so simple....
Length: 1.4km, Creator time taken: 35m56s, Ascent: 67m,
Descent: 68m

Places: Start at R2299609885, Taur, end at Start
Logged as completed by 1

Besides the few tops that are actually driveable, this is probably the simplest bag I’ve ever had. It’s literally 10 minutes to top. There is an entrance to a site of some sort where you can squeeze a car without blocking it, and there’s also another entrance across the road with a locked gate and a sign, where you can probably park as you’ll only be gone 25 minutes.
The track next to bungalow
Walk 50m west to a dormer bungalow and just inside the entrance gates you’ll see a track on the left. Ask permission if anyone around, just in case. The day I did it there was no one to ask.
Track turns grassy for a bit.
Followed this winding track up hill for 5 minutes, then had to clamber awkwardly over a ditch, which took me into an area covered with short heather. A trig pillar 100m away marked the top. I lingered in the glorious sunshine, which probably added 10 minutes to my walk, but you could probably bag this up and down in 20 mins.
Summit trig.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 0h 23m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
