conormcbandon: Track 3057 in area near Taur, W Limerick/N Kerry (Ireland)
A quick ascent up Taur via a farm track
Length: 1.8km, Creator time taken: 25m58s, Ascent: 65m,

I would ignore the eastern part of my route where I ascended, it's just stupid. Start where I finished at this farm gate which is a little west from the large layby where I parked.
There's a path most of the way to the summit which is marked by a trig pillar.

Again like Thomas G I tried to link Taur and Taurbeg as I thought conditions in the forestry might have changed since his visit but there is a lot of fallen trees causing obstuctions as you enter the forestry to the north in the direction of these turbines.

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 0h 28m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
