Distinctively shaped 500m summit with outliers and sea aspect.
Short Summary created by simon3  3 Sep 2013
One way of reaching the top is from the B4417 at around SH36729 43387. Essentially you can climb to the top using paths or go via the col to the east.

The summit has huge coastal views along the north side of the Llyn Peninsula and also towards the three outliers, Yr Eifl N, Tre'r Ceiri the hill fort to the east and Caer Gribin the cairn topped southern ridge.

The cairn on the summit is topped by a trig pillar with an unusual metal piece which makes the letters 4AH, part of the local postcode.

Occasionally you can see the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland from here. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/B1951/comment/7918/

Viewed from the Great Sugar Loaf, 501m in Wicklow, Ireland one October day, Yr Eifl, central, and Yr Eifl North Top appear well defined as to shape, whatever about colour. The distance is 157.94km at a bearing of 99.2 degrees.
Yr Eifl North Top (which is the first summit left of centre) has a distinctive stepped appearance to its left if you look at it in the expanded or gallery view. This is because it was quarried.
The main peak to the left of the Yr Eifl group is Gyrn Ddu at around the same distance. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/B1951/comment/14835/

The name Yr Eifl North Top does not exist. Please remove the North Top element from your data as it is incorrect. Linkback: https://mountainviews.ie/summit/b1951/comment/20428/
