mcrtchly: Track 2506 in area near Mount Kennedy, Dublin/Wicklow (Ireland)
Length: 3.9km, Creator time taken: 57m11s, Ascent: 90m,
Descent: 93m

Places: Start at O2373105861, Mount Kennedy, end at Start
Logged as completed by 1

An easy route up Mount Kennedy is to park just of the R765 on a side road and walk back to the R765, turn left then cross a gate on the right. This passes though part of the Roundwood golf course and it might be best to reserve this route for less busy times. Follow the track into the woods and take a short cut on the left about 600m from the start to reach a forest road. Turn left here and follow the road for about 200m (ignoring a branch on the left to recent clear felling) to a fork. Turn left at the fork and the path curves northwards and then eastwards again to meet a wall at the edge of the forest. Turn right here and follow the forest boundary to the summit. The later part of this follows a ride between two forest blocks but beware of barb wire on the ground.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 0h 56m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
