Not much to add here. Driving to this is more effort than the actual summit. sandman's directions are spot on and it's a good way to bag this as the mast acts as a good reference point.

South west of Leather head a there is a car parking space on the edge of the woods a pleasant walk through the woods to the west leads to the summit which is a tree blasted by lightning.
