Visited 13.08.2024. Followed forestry track up from main road then on narrow track up to cross. Views from here of surrounding area are great especially the Comeraghs and Slievenamon. Well worth a visit, a little with big views. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1215/comment/24259/

To trig or not to trig

Climbed Friday 11th July. Followed excellent directions of thomas g. All the way to high point with large cross in attendance. No route finding issues, the trig point is at other end of hill, much lower down above the turbines completely surrounded by in places head high gorse, a bit of a slog through the gorse is a bit of an understatement! I accessed the trig from the wind turbines and it was nightmarish. Linkback: mountainviews.ie/summit/1215/comment/17569/
