Scenic stop on Kerry Way

Easy to access and well marked, as the Kerry Way traverses the mountain and runs very close to its highest point. The route from the east, the Kenmare side, is very wet and boggy near where one leaves the tarred road, but improves, from the west it is wet nearer the summit. Either ascent should take about 30 minutes or less. Lovely views down the Kenmare Bay and over Kenmare itself. As its part of the Kerry Way, no access issues and stiles over any fences.
