[RWD version 1 ] Parked at The Long Woman’s Grave car park, room for about 10 cars. Walked about 30m north to a barely noticeable trail on the left. The first bit involved a steep scramble up a wet, narrow grassy section of trail, which can be treacherous.

On the 'trail'
After that the ‘trail’ snaked its way up the hillside, but in truth it was more absent than present and we frequently lost it. Where you can find it, it is very narrow and muddy lots of the time and expect to wander off course a lot.

Finally a view of Carlingford when we emerged from the mist.
Thanks to a mist the views were limited except for the lower sections where we caught glimpses of Carlingford Lough. The trail is also quite steep up to the 400m mark after which the slope eases considerably. Small cairn marks the highpoint.

Summit cairn
We descended a slightly different way and at one point cut through a gully of sorts with large rock outcrops on with side, but again the mist limited our views.

Passed this interesting gully on descent.
