Gleninagh Mountain Nice ramble from Fanore beach - parking and toilets - and up on to Gleninagh Mountain. We followed the marked way of Black Head Loop for a while and left this to visit the old fort on the hillside (well worth it). From there open Burren landscape, stunning and wild all the way to Gleninagh Mountain with its tiny summit marker/Trig pillar. We rejoined the marked way for a short while before cutting the walk short and followed the road and Caher River back to Fanore Beach.
