Reaching the top of Carrigoona Commons doesn't present much of a challenge, but a little ingenuity extended it to a 2 hour stroll.

The route winds its way around the hill and the ridge towards the north using some of the quiet public roads to extend it at times.
There are some different views of surrounding hills and mountains.
