This walk begins in Femes, located in Southern Lanzarote plenty of parking available in the village. Initially up a well made track to a goat farm and from here the first top Pico de la Acetuna is just a short steep uphill climb to summit at 482m, from here the nxt top Pico Rendondo is in full view to the SE. Dropped down to a col followed by a steep climb over some very rough ground to the summit at 551m, great views here in all directions. Full attention is drawn to Hache Grande and it`s fine ascent ridge lurking a couple of Km to the SE. Again a steep downhill climb from here undertaken with care taken as the ground is quite rough, there are a couple of small rock bands to be negioated . Passed by another goat farm and up the ridge to Hache Grande at 562m, views here are outstanding and it felt like being at the end of the Earth. Route back was down the ridge past the goat farm and back along an interesting path that cut around Pico Redondo and Pico Acetuna, then it was a short descent back to Femes, another memorable walk in Lanzarote.
