Approximately 100m farther south, at NN115 553, a bypass path to the left (east), around houses and gardens, allows continued access to the Gleann without disturbing residents. The bypass path emerges onto the lane at NN113 551.
Continue along the lane past some farm buildings to its end at NN106 546, then onto a track, then a path along the east side of Allt na Muidhe.
Follow the path for an additional 1.5 or 1.6 kms to approximately NN108 531. Head east and up to gain the ridge at the col between Aonach Dubh a’Ghlinne and Stob an Fhuarain. A faint path appears, disappears, and reappears from time to time.
Follow the ridge south to Stob an Fhuarain, 968m a Munro Top.

When recording this track the ascent route was followed back to the parking area.
The Corbett, Meall Lighiche, is often included with a visit to Sgùrr na h-Ulaidh. It is recommended however, that if Meall Lighiche is to be included, then it should be ascended first. There is a slab of rock creating a “bad step” between Bealach Easan and Sgùrr na h-Ulaidh. Several accidents have occurred at this rock slab. It is much easier to negotiate this obstacle safely when ascending from Meall Lighiche than descending from Sgùrr na h-Ulaidh.

COMMENTS
No comments uploaded yet.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 4h 50m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
