This route starts from the Shay Elliott memorial car park, just north of Drumgoff and visits most of the nearby summits.
Unusually it takes a westerly turn from the top of Carriglineen crossing (as of 2023) an untracked region with a good helping of heather, chest high furze and "clear felled" land strewn with slip inducing branches.
Nevertheless it's an interesting walk with an unusual route.
