Parking for several cars at start point, just before a gate. Through gate on the immediate left is a large grassy mound topped by boulders, which looks suspiciously like a Neolithic tomb of some description, but I’m not sure if this is correct.
Neolithic structure? Maybe.
Follow the winding track for about 1.25km until it forks, take right hand track. Good views all round, particularly of the distant Lough Melvin to the NW.
Good views in a all directions
Continue for another 300m and pass trig pillar on left (not high point).

From there the summit is 600m away. Track peters out here, but a narrow trail continues SE on an off across heathery, occasionally boggy terrain, taking you to the high point – a transmitter tower on a broad, boggy area. Took me 1 hour 20 minutes up and down.
