Climbed the Iconic Slioch from Incheril on a fantastic weather day, following a long walk beside the N bank of the Kinlochewe river, we ascended to the Coire Tuill Bhain, from here we gained the SE ridge which lead steeply to the Summit at 980m, although the weather was clear and sunny below, the summit held some light misty clouds so views were obscured, form the summit we headed around to Sgurr an Tuill Bhain 933m, and from there very steeply back down to Coire Tuill Bhain and followed our upward route back to path beside the river to Incheril. A fine tough walk on one of Scotland`s popular most Mountains.

It is indeed a splendid mountain, and a long climb (sea level to almost 1000m) compared to anything in Ireland. But I do think your GPS might have slightly overestimated the ascent here Eamon...my track is pretty much the same walk and about 800m less climbing ;-)

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 7h 28m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
