Track Rating ..
[RWD version 1 ] This route starts from the Ballybrack carpark and uses the Pilgrim's Path to reach the Brandon Ridge. The route could be done NS or SN. We choose SN because the prevailing strong, wet winds were from the SSW. picture 1 for track/4802
Out of the mist this was the view down the locally named Military Road with Beenamman to the right and Sybil Head to left of centre.

At a few places the winds was gusting sufficiently to make progress difficult.
We descended via the Military Road to the car park at Q43360 12469
