[RWD version 1 ] Parking for a couple of cars at forest entrance to north. Walk up track and trun left after about 150m, the follow forest track as it curves around hill. Watch for a narrow forest ride on the right. This looks a bit ominous, muddy and overgrown but it's quite passable. Follow this up until the forestry ends and you are faced with a rising heathery slope. The track actually continues around to the right, but ignore this and proceed directly up the hill for about 300m - it's a bit of a slog through knee-deep heather. There is a small cairn near the summit, but the highpoint is actually a rocky outcrop. Up and down allow 90 minutes.
