Track actually starts at end point at forest entrance off the Kilgarvan road, on descent I headed for a forest track spotted from above, the last 200mts to access the forest track was extremely rough underfoot , would not reccommend it, better to use upward route to the west of Croghhane Lough. Actual distance 11.5km
