Parking just off the R254 at a small track, room for one car only. Headed over some very rough ground to Croaghanamph, had to cross 2 rivers, which could prove difficult if in spate. From Croaghanamph, Leahanmore dominates the view north from here, a low col seperates it from Kinneveagh to the NW. From Croaghanamph the route drops to a wet col, followed by a stiff climb to Leahanmore great views from here in all directions, now a drop to another equally wet col leads the way to Kinnaveagh and a 1km trek along a rocky broad ridge to the top. From Kinnevagh it was close to 5km back to start point. A fairly ardous outing best kept for a good weather day.
