[RWD version 1 ] As part of a short break stay on The Broads in Norfolk we tried a couple of the local tracks. As it turned out the long distance Angles Way and Via Beata Way tracks passed through the property in which we were staying.
This walk passes by the beautiful Carlton Marshes Suffolk Wildlife Trust area. Carlton and Oulton Marshes is a 151 hectare nature reserve in Lowestoft in Suffolk. It is managed by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. They have a magnificent building for wildlife observation where you can get food and hot drinks.
. We were interested in walking along the banks of the Waveney River so this track is a circuit focussing on that river. The western extent of the walk could continue all the way to the town of Beccles where you can get a local train back to Oulton Station.
