Followed a similar route but instead of turning east down the forest track to the road on the east side of Sheegowna, when I reached S309 317, the point where this track slaloms eastwards downhill via a track within fortified forest area, I instead continued southwards along the farm track that is roughly at about the 400m elevation.

I continued almost directly southwards, only deviating to sheep tracks where possible to avoid losing height. This left me at the forest. I had the option of turning south west uphill to regain the main track. However, rather than climb again, I entered the forest around S311 301 and tried to contour through the forest. This ultimately was possible, but at certain points I had to deviate from the track due to fallen trees. Eventually I emerged from the forest around S310 294.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 3h 51m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
