jgfitz: Track 4410 in area near Dublin (Ireland)
Lehaunstown to Enniskerry via west side of Scalp
Length: 14.7km, Creator time taken: 4h43m, Ascent: 456m,
Descent: 439m

Places: Start at O23204 23808, end at O22251 17325 6.6km S from Start

This is a more extended version of a previous track that I uploaded, # 3739 Lehaunstown to The Scalp. The purpose of this extended track is to show that there are possibilities to link with the Knocksink Wood to Three Rock and Stepaside track # 4029. The extension goes through a relatively new right of way between the former hotel and ski slope, which circles around by the quiet Killegar Road to re-emerge onto the Enniskerry Road within about 100m of the footpath that leads into Enniskerry. p.s. I am informed that the council has (or had) plans to create a track that would link Killegar Road with Glencullen via the sandpit at O20118 19994.

COMMENTS
No comments uploaded yet.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 3h 41m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
