[RWD version 1 ] The one where I just had to get out onto the mountains...
The weather forecast was for cloud with mist and rain with the possibility of a break in the weather mid-afternoon. For the first 3 hrs or so, I was navigating with map and compass through rain, mist and cloud...then, just south of Crohane SW top, the cloud lifted and I got this wonderful view of Bennaunmore across the gap!

As others have reported, the terrain around here is very tough, at one stage I was pushing my way through bracken that was taller than me; another stretch has waist high grass! Still, a good day out.
