[RWD version 1 ] A fairly unfashionable summit even in the context of a generally unfrequented range climbed in high winds and heavy rain...yet I still saw one other person up there and interacted with another person online who'd also done it that day. Maybe Ireland's mountains do have a problem with erosion after all. picture 1 for track/4292

I followed esteemed author Colin Murphy's directions along the track leaving the N15 almost opposite the Barnesmore Gap car park, and once on the hillside took a slightly more easterly line than he apparently did for the summit, following a minor stream for a fair distance before the steeper section to the top...mostly sloppy going (especially lower down) but not that bad. picture 2 for track/4292
