[RWD version 1 ]
An exploration of a beautiful ridge along the Ariège/Haute-Garonne border, starting from the Col du Portet-d'Aspet (1069m). An out-and-back trip which takes in seven summits, with some majestic views all along. Some snow left above 1500m (ca. 1400m on the N side) but no special equipment was required. Note that the final part of the initial ascent, just before getting out of the forestry (between 1300 and 1400m), is made along a gully which may be prone to avalanches.
