David-Guenot: Track 4185 in area near Foilastookeen, Shehy/Knockboy (Ireland)
Gougane Barra Loop
Length: 21.2km, Creator time taken: 5h55m, Ascent: 788m,
Descent: 789m

Places: Start at W0935666007, Faill an Stuaicín, An Coinigéar, Conigar SW Top, Béillic, Com an tSagairt (mullach thiar theas), Com an tSagairt, end at Start
Logged as completed by 1

Rough ground all along the way except for the first 4 and the last 3km. This route includes a detour to Conigar S Top, which I will submit as a possible Arderin Beg. Be aware that I dropped down into a deep gully between Conigar and Bealick. This can be avoided by keeping more to the W, probably saving 20/30m ascent. New roadtracks and windfarms under construction between Coomataggart and Carran Far NE Top as of July 2019.

COMMENTS
No comments uploaded yet.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 5h 33m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
