A walk completed with my friend Alexandre. We took the usual route up the Pique d'Endron (2472m) which requires a bit of easy scrambling on the final arête. The NW ridge is pathless most of the way and requires a good deal of stamina and route-finding due to the steep ground (scramblers may find it interesting though). This route appeared to be a wrong choice (actually mine) for my friend, who hadn't been out in the mountains for 9 months and has a fear of heights, and thus did not feel confident on the rough terrain and the steep slopes. This said, the views were absolutely amazing !!
