I went back to Scotland to climb more Munros after an absence of nearly 15 years. This group of 4 can be done in a day yet I wanted the chance to backpack and camp out in the mountains, something I haven't done in decades!
Approach to the area in through Glen Cannich and there is a very useful 'ferry' run by Angus the Boatman who will (for a fee, £25/head) drop you anywhere along the loch for any walk you care to do.

This is a very remote area, prone to bad weather, so any walkers here need to be self sufficient and well able to navigate. Having said that, as climbing Munros is now very popular, most routes now have a track worn from heavy use.

The route up to An Riabhachan
We camped overnight in cold, windy wet conditions near the saddle between An Riabhachan and Sgurr na Lapaich and slept very well despite the conditions!

the next morning we were away arount 7am and completed the second half (see Part 2 track) in good shape!

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 4h 7m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
