A incredibly beautiful walk using the Kerry Way to both access and escape the mountains. Glenbeigh area is amazing and hopefully the new Greenway from Glenbeigh to Caherciveen will be built soon. This hike has everything - sea, mountains, forests and loughs. Park a few hundred metres up the road from the entrance to the Kerry Way and shortly after start acsending Been Hill. On then to Mullaghnarakill, Beenmore and finally Drung HIll which has immense views as shown. Descend steeply towards two cairns and turn left at the first oen to pick up the Kerry Way which is a well rutted path here. The remaininf 3 or so kms back are through forested areas.
Coomloughra Horseshoe in the distance as seen from Been Hill - no doubting the volcanic origins
Beenmore and Drung Hill from Mullaghnarakill
