Trying to complete these 4 summits always seems daunting - do you park the car at the Gap and do an "over and back", what about a break-in??. Anyway parked at the school in Lacken and started walking up to Ballynultagh Gap. Realised this would really prolong my day so started to hitch and was picked up by a really nice fella going up to the Gap for some paragliding! Made the day easier I tell you. Sorrel Hill is up and down then onto Black Hill and Monbane and Silsean. Returning to Lake Road is a little daunting with so many houses but aim for the picnic tables at the car park - only 2 fences, the rest are gates. Walking back to Lacken, managed again to hitch a lift from 2 guys going up to the Gap to film the views for a promotional video on a new Wicklow Greenway. Saved 3kms and had a great chat!.

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 3h 50m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
