Starting point is same as point A on descriptions. Find it via small roads just after Ballyvourney and direction Coolrea. Follow road onto forest road (pass locked Coillte gate) keeping left at T junction and simply keep following main forest road uphill until it opens up into the valley with multiple windmills and a power substation. Follow a track to the right up to the mobile transmitter mast and then cross country to summit. You can aim downhill along fence of power station to regain road. Well worth the views on this sunny winter day.
