[RWD version 1 ] A short walk on Ireland's Eye in September 2015. Original plan to visit earlier in the summer was thwarted by a huge fire that ravaged the island in June 2015. Easy walk in general, but large areas of the island are difficult grass or heather. Be careful near the N and E rocky cliffs and bluffs. Abundant seabirds and seals. Murder took place in 'The Long Hole' on the NE side in 1852.
