Route from South to Nephin Beg and its South Top.

Sandman has suggested a parking place deep in the forest north of the usual southern start from the Brogan Carroll bothy. By creative use of forest roads you can emerge onto the Bangor Trail about 4k along the usual route, saving abouut 8k on the round trip.

The roads are not good, but with extreme care, they are passable. I looked carefully for any gates which could be shut off blocking our retreat, but saw nothing.
