A very enjoyable hike up and down Benbulben, taking in Kings mountain and going right to the tip of the cliffs after Benbulben to take in the fantastic views. This was a lovely sunny day in April with incredible views to the sea, and views back to all of the mountains of Sligo/Leitrim as well as the mountains across the penninsula in Donegal. Thanks to PMG for inspiring this route. I've just followed his initial route to Benbulben, and added some walks close to the viewpoints so walkers can enjoy the location a little more, then returning to the initial point to make this achievable within a 4 to 6 hour timeframe, depending on group size and fitness - it's also hard not to stop along the cliffs for a few picnics when the sea and coastal views are so awe-inspiring.
