Bunsen7: Track 3414 in area near Brockagh Mountain SE Top, Dublin/Wicklow (Ireland)
Brockagh Tops

Descent: 522m

Places: Start at T14113 96916, Brockagh Mountain SE Top, Brockagh Mountain, Tonlagee South-East Top, Brockagh Mountain NW Top, end at Start

Similar track to a number of others which I used for guidance. Parked at the forest entrance having turned up at the school in Laragh. Headed through the forest, briefly joining the Wicklow way before deviating onto the track for Brockagh East.
Brockagh East Top is a lovely walk in itself on a fine day, achievable by most. It's probably a family walk to that point, in dry conditions, with quite easy going terrain. However, of itself, to keep it as a family walk, you'd probably have to return by way of ascent.
As you head westwards from Brockagh East, the terrain is much more boggy. It becomes quite evident why Brockagh is not the route of choice for an ascent of Tonelagee.

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 3h 46m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
