peter1: Track 3402 in area near Seefin South-East Top, Ballyhoura Mountains (Ireland)
Seefin SE Top from the South
Length: 6.1km, Creator time taken: 1h55m, Ascent: 261m, Descent: 271m
Places:Start at R64650 15177, Seefin South-East Top, end at Start Logged as completed by 1
This is a short route to take in the SE Top as I had missed it out on previous trips. It's not too difficult to find a route up through the forest to reach the open hillside. Following the track along the ridge brings you back to the main forest track again and so back to the car. It's really boggy on the tops...but if you've been in the Ballyhouras before, you will know this already!

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 1h 40m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
