[RWD version 1 ]
This starts at the top of a col also useful for reaching Knockatee. It will bring you on a short trip over boggy but not particularly difficult ground to the twin peaked summit of Knockanoughanish.
You will have to cross fences here, however if at the start of the walk you keep to the left of the fence then you should find that you only have to cross one (as of 2016 anyway). Once you are over an initial hump, marked as Drombohilly 256m on the 1:50k, you will see some rectangular fields to the right. Leave them to the right. The actual top area has two peaks
separated by a few tens of metres. The higher to the north has a cairn. The views can be pretty spectacular, however on the rainy day that we were there they might be described more as grainy dramatic.
