conormcbandon: Track 3266 in area near Taghart South, North Midlands (Ireland)
Another quarried hill
Length: 1.3km, Creator time taken: 29m16s, Ascent: 47m,
Descent: 46m

Places: Start at H72876 00333, Taghart South, end at Start
Logged as completed by 1
The quarry was closed and apparently disused for some time when I climbed in June 2016. I parked at the quarry entrance and weighbridge. I climbed over the large embankment, up the west side of the quarry to the top which is cleared in prepartation for blasting I presume.
The summit is unmarked. I descended the east side of the quarry and out to the main road via some large blocks placed for security.

Note: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, a rough and often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 0h 20m + time stopped for breaks
Note: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.
