David-Guenot: Track 3122 in area near Cnoc na Sleá, Donegal NW (Ireland)
CNOC NA SLEA: FANCY A HIKE AND A DIVE ?
Length: 4.0km, Creator time taken: 1h10m, Ascent: 184m,
Descent: 181m

Places: Start at C11910 41958, Cnoc na Sleá, end at Start
Logged as completed by 1

This small hill has a lot more to offer than its modest height would suggest, especially if you start from the parking S of the beautiful sandy Tra na Rosann, so you can enjoy a stroll on the beach before the mere 20/25 min pull up to the top of Cnoc na Slea. Great views from up there, and you may want to explore a bit and continue W to reach the coastline. From the top, I saw a hiker on his way up from the N, so there may be a possible route from there too, though there may be some access issues, as well. Anyway, from the beach, it is a nice wee hike. And if you fancy a swim on the way back...

NOTE: ALL information such as Ascent, Length and Creator time taken etc should be regarded as approximate. The creator's comments are opinions and may not be accurate or still correct.
Your time to complete will depend on your speed plus break time and your mode of transport. For walkers: Naismith's rule, an approximate though often inaccurate estimate, suggests a time of 1h 6m + time stopped for breaks
NOTE: It is up to you to ensure that your route is appropriate for you and your party to follow bearing in mind all factors such as safety, weather conditions, experience and access permission.

* Note: A GPS Height in the elevation profile is sourced from the device that recorded the track. An "SRTM" height is derived from a model of elevations for parts of the earth. More detail
